2010 Blanc de Blancs
Chardonnay lovers rejoice. An exquisitely crafted wine from an incredible vintage, the 2010 Blanc de Blancs is the kind of sparking wine that doesn’t come around very often. In 2010, the Gloria Ferrer Carneros estate vineyards benefitted from a near perfect growing season. The blend, after three and a half years on the yeast, is rich and complex, yet dry and elegant, and will only continue to improve with extended aging.

A severe heat spell hit in late August leaving some sunburn to the grapes. After trimming and cleaning up the sunburned vines, harvest began mid-September to avoid a second heat spike.
