LINE BREAKS & PARAGRAPHS
Line Break: At place of line break, type two spaces followed by enter(return). The two spaces will indicate the need for a line break
For instance:

HYPERLINKS
Within Website: Type the link text within two square brakes, followed by URL within parenthesis:
hyperlink text All text within the square brackets link to the URL listed in the parenthesis.
Outside Website: Manually enter link:
Email Address: Enter email address between carrots:
The system will display email address as displayed between carrots
URL Shortcut: A short cut to creating a link to a url address is:
The address within the carrots will appear as is, linked to the URL.
SYMBOLS
Some symbols are read by the system as HTML code. If using the following symbols at the beginning of a sentence, you will need to precede it with a backslash:

EMPHASIS
For bold: text (two underscores before and after)
For italics: text (asterisks before and after)
