From the moment you arrive through the gates of Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, you are entering a very special place. Established more than 25 years ago, Gloria Ferrer was the first sparkling wine house built in Carneros, but its history goes back much further.
Take any one of our expertly guided tours and you will learn about the artistry and process of winemaking, the Carneros appellation, and our sustainability practices, but most importantly, you will learn about what makes our wines truly special - the Ferrer family, their commitment to making outstanding sparkling wines for over 150 years, and the love story that began it all.

Public Tours
Available three times a day, this 40 minute public tour offers an excellent overview of the Carneros region & the Ferrer family history along with our sparkling wine making process. While visiting our Production, main cave overlook and a view of our sample vines you will receive an introduction to our vineyard and sustainability practices.
In addition, you will also learn the intricacies of our caves as they relate to our winemaking process. Enjoy two of our award winning sparkling wines as well as an Estate Varietal, all while learning about our incredible family and Spanish estate here at Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards. Three wines will be tasted during this tour.

Glorious Tour
Great sparkling wine is primarily made from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and on this private one hour guided tour you will discover the steps taken to produce award-winning sparkling wine using the traditional methode champenoise process. As you walk throughout the winery – from production and bottling to an overlook of our main cave – you will also garner the rich history of Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards.
During this short journey you will revel in the tastes of two award winning sparkling wines and one estate varietal. Be sure to take in the breathtaking views of the Carneros region surrounding our Spanish style estate for a souvenir photo to remember this day. Three wines will be tasted during this tour.

Reserve Tour
Fun and educational, this one hour private tour will provide you with the rich history of Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, as well as the intricate process of crafting sparkling wines. Did you know it takes anywhere from 3 to 10 years to make a great bottle of Gloria Ferrer sparkling wine? Find out more fun facts as you tour the production area, watch a bottling demonstration, and view the wine cave.
Along the way, sip on three current release award-winning premium vintage sparkling wines as well as a current release of our estate grown, premium Pinot Noir. Four of our premium wines will be tasted during this tour.

Food & Wine Pairing Tour
On this special, in-depth one and a half hour experience, you will learn about the history of Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards and the intricate sparkling wine process as you tour throughout the different areas of the winery and overlook to our main cave. A special visit to an exclusive area of the wine making process will be available seasonally. Fun and educational, this tour will leave you with a strong understanding of the magic of sparkling wine and how Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are transformed into delicate bubbles, as well as our four diverse estate grown varietal wines.
Following the tour, you will sip on four of our premium award-winning sparkling wines as well as one of our specially crafted estate varietal wines. Each wine will be expertly paired with a delicious seasonal bite, creatively conceived, to temp your taste buds. Learn the basics of wine and food pairing and why each of the pairings work so well together. These appetizers will vary in taste and texture. Four wines will be tasted during this experience.
